Coincidental to this thread I have just had another delivery from Interlink Express / DPD and got into conversation with this thread in mind. He started out this morning with 75 drops to complete in a set period. He was 1 minute early for me to be able to sign for my so we had to wait for the machine to count down before I could put my squiggle in the signature box on his machine. He said that he had received requests to make additional pickups as the day progressed which of course added to his workload and time constraints. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.

Seems that it is not only parcel recipients who are having issues with MyHermes?

A very interesting article which if true, does not put MyHermes in a very good light.

Ordered a T-Max tyre compressor ( from Trek Overland)

Was "delivered" by My Hermes ie they threw it over my 2m high back fence

Not even going to open it - they have to take it back. As it is those sorts of items are made of chocolate or cheese.

Have to say that I have used MyHermes for several years both for dispatch and receipt and have never had any issues. Local guy is very good.
With any parcel delivery firm you must ensure that packing is done well. Any of my packed items would survive a 2M drop with no problems.
