Definitely should help performance
Depends what else you are used to but in Defender terms I have found the 300 tdi vastly better than Series or NA 4 cylinder engines. Should easily keep up with modern traffic speeds which my Lightweight will not do! 1995 Defender 110 CSW

Well it improved performance no end but it still sounds like a spitfire. I'm away climbing tomorrow but i'll try and record the sound when I get back so you guys can listen to it, it may be easier for one of you guys to diagnose.
