![]() Click image to enlarge Cheers mate! The rear plate is smaller here too! So I was able to remove the ugly tacked on bit of folded aluminium used to extend the plate mounting area to NSW/VIC plate size! ![]() 4 rivets in the 4 holes, a dab of Keswick Green touch up paint and jobs a guddun! Out for a drive to the beautiful Perth Hills on a perfect Autumn day, 24c and blue sunny skies (as in normal here in Western Australia!!)

Hi Pete
Great to see another Defender on Oz roads, I bought mind from Townsville 3 years ago as the local Geelong dealer could not be bothered to source one for me. So found a beautiful brand new white 130 one of the last four brought into the country. Like you had to travel a bit to pick it up. Fly up to Townsville then drive back to Geelong, a nice trip to get to know him, yes he is a boy. That was just over 2600 km. Loving life |

Great stuff!
I bought mine 90 SW in N.S.W, but my local dealer also had none, so I drove up to Coffs Harbour to collect! Big trip down to Melbourne, then across the Nullabor to Perth now! Loving it as well... though I do miss my 110 at times!! ![]() |

Happy travels, doing the same trip in April next year to Perth via the Eyre Hwy then south to Esperance and follow the coast to Perth. Home via Laverton and the Anne Beadell Hwy. Really looking forward to that.

Great! I was going to go via Uluru and then the 'Great Central Road'... but ran out of time. So that is my next trip, after the Kimberly maybe later this year!

Following on from the discussions about SVX v Recaro CS seats, very pleased with the simplicity of the installation and the perfect fit of my Recaro CS from 'Twisted' UK.
I have the great MUD UK extension rails, and even with these full back, the seats still fit perfectly. ![]() Only done a few short trips, but transforms the comfort of the Defender... and nicer to corner it too!!! Anyway, as promised, some photos! ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge Overall, very pleased with the upgrade... and the ££ saved will go towards perhaps some other stuff... like the 'Twisted' alloys... that look very nice! Now I also need to to get a matching cubby box lid! The 'Melville and Moon' one kinds now looks out of place! Cheers, Pete ![]() |
