I've got a little 12 foot river launch with 4hp outboard which I tow, and a 14 foot, 4 seat Canadian canoe which goes on the roof.

My Father and Sister sail from Mylor so know the area well (both moorings opposite ends of the creek!). Father has a 21' something just bought (always buying and selling!) and sister a power boat for water skiing - just putting in a new volvo engine into it.
Mine is a Folksong 26 going in Chichester Harbour April 1st ![]() ![]() Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated ![]() Last edited by Zagato on 17th Feb 2011 10:10am. Edited 1 time in total |

Zagato - nice!
Wife's grandparents have one of these moored at Mylor - not pretty but it's very well made: ![]() Our little mooring is in Malpas, where we live. Inlaws have this moored in the Med - one of 15 Fisher 46s: Steel, 30+ tonnes and seen here with netting around the handrails to prevent our 2 year old falling off! ![]() Click image to enlarge Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

A bit slow maybe "Defender of the Earth" but it's all about accommodation, seaworthiness and practicality on a Fisher. I love em! Lets just say it has a tad more headroom than mine

Zagato - great pic! At least yours has a roof though!
The Fisher is split level: ![]() Has a nice kitchen too. One guy sailed his around the World so it's very seaworthy. I crossed the Channel in a 1917 Bristol Clipper in a force 9-10 once. 12 hours of being sick! Kind of put me off sailing a bit! We did have a Cornish Crabber Coble (17ft gaff rigged dinghy) but realised we were a bit cack at sailing so sold it! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |
