Feet

I'm stuck working in London at the moment and rather than stay in a hotel I thought I'd try something different. Uptown reservations is essentially an agent for smart B&B so I sent them my requirements and they found me somewhere in Kensington. I say somewhere, I mean a room in flat that at a conservative estimate would be £5m all day. The landlady / owner was a model for Christian Dior................ in the 1950s! She is utterly charming but doesn't get out of bed until 8.00, so the breakfast part of the deal kind of falls down. Still, in compensation the flat is opposite a pub that serves real beer, has a fire and has cod / chips / burger on the menu. Happy days. Sometimes in life you land on your face, other times on your feet.
