Making your own holes - as the canvas will retract and before with the original cleats and rope system there was an allowable tolerance, but not now with the studs.
I'm sure you know - With the canvas fully fitted. Park in the rain to allow it to settle in the required position. Once its shrunk in place , it won't stretch again. |

I think that shrinkage rule only applies to canvas. Mohair is a completely different fabric. Mine never shrunk an inch.
