Thanks Clayton and Procta Mr. Green

@JOW, the screen won't be able to fold down as it hits the top loop of the cage. I would probably never find myself using it that way in reality, though it's now a redundant 'feature'.

Yesterday was spent putting some of the brackets/cage to chassis extensions on that attach to the bottom of the cappings.
This proved to cause issues!

The rear corner cappings had the hood stick fittings on, which were in the way of the brabket I needed to fit.
So I had to drill all the rivets out to remove the cappings and then figure out the best way to to do this, luckily I had a hole saw that was just the right size, I decided to take photos after I'd drilled it out.

Then I had to remove the seats to get to the b-pillar brackets that pick up from the seatbelt mounts, I then had to remove a strengthening bar that is on the front part of the tub, which is held in with about 12 rivets x2, as this needed modifying!

Here's a tip for any of you considering a build project:

Have a plan. Wink this has so far had 3 roofs, 4 sets of wheels and 2 engines, plus 3 pairs of seats. It could have been finished 12 months ago!! I've undone a lot of work a few times Laughing

The littlest things that no one sees, probably nobody knows what they are, though you know it's there and it niggles at you every time you see them. They had to get replaced.

Though many hours were wasted today by swapping out the lights in the garage, with LED versions Rolling Eyes

I had same thought when I was working on my neighbours 90. Told him they had to be changed - partly because they'd stand out every time I walked past the vehicle and annoy me !
I bought some galvanised ones from ebay though.
Thumbs Up

Cage looks great GREENI! In the summer you could always just take the screen off completely of course! Thumbs Up
