2014 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
Additional switch locations... Help
2014 puma.

I'm about to install a compressor and front and rear locker switches and need a spot for these switches. I feel like the dash pod causes too much view restriction in an already tight/small viewing window.

I'm thinking the blank side areas to the left and right of the radio may be best option. The spot commonly used for the double din relocation of switches.

My questions:

Does a template or Bezle exist to add a group of switches to that area?

How do Carlings mount? Looks like a square hole must be cut.

The other option I thought could be behind my knees while sitting in the drivers seat. Currently have a batt cutoff coming through the seat box and could add a shallow box to mount switches I guess

Any guidance is very helpful

addional switches
Hi all,

Needing to fit some additional switches into my defender, I would like to use the genuine switches but does anyone know where I can get the switch holders?

Cheers

I've got the FCX twin din for 1 set of 7 carling switches, plus the other din with a Whelen OptiDin switch panel. I've got the raptor dash pod with another 7 switches in.

I also have the MUD roof console, that could take 7 switches, but I've used it for a radio.

There is also the MUD dash kit where the passenger handle is for another din sized slot, or alternatively the cubby box mug holder inserts.

Another option I was looking at are these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231848689785?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT

Anyone tried them before? North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

If you have a Defender Td5, you can fit two of these " Land Rover Discovery 2 SWITCH CARRIER" perfectly on the center of the dash.....
