You should be able to run wires directly between them, out of the side of the battery box at the back, clipped to the join between the seat box and the rear tub and then into the side of the other under seat box. TD5s run the main power feed that way to the fuse box. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/

I did this by running flexible conduit ( 25mm) between the two boxes and followed existing cables and pipes to make it all look neat. I drilled out each box and used the appropriate conduit gland/seal. 👍 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Yup, flexible conduit here too.
Used a step drill to get to size for the appropriate gland. Glands were electrical style that screw tight instead of those auto kind that just use their elasticity as is. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |
