I'm not familiar enough with the 300TDi to know if it still has an EGR valve.
My Disco does not have the EGR. I'm not sure if this is relevant because as far as I know the immobiliser does not affect the EGR operation nor would it affect how I connect to the 10AS immobiliser. Regards -- John C Brown Discovery 2 TD5 2004 | Defender 300TDi 1998 |

So, if I had a TD5 wiring diag and follow the output from that pin to the OBD socket on a TD5 I might be able to work out my own cable.

I highly doubt the Nanocom would be able to connect properly, but for the cost of an extra licence you can send your 10AS off to be properly programmed, just the hassle of removing it.

Thanks for the reply.
I paid for the licence and tried it out. Works fine as far as I can tell. All the options appear but I haven't tried to change any yet. Uses the standard blue cable I have for the TD5 Discovery. I worried unnecessarily, no modification needed. Thanks -- John C Brown Discovery 2 TD5 2004 | Defender 300TDi 1998 |
