Today our Heritage 110' first birthday - 14 634 km done.
Received it Friday, 11/12/2015 and departed on a 1 500km journey the very next (Satur)day - no real opportunity for a run in period in the prescribed way - but rather in the "wrong" way - long stretches of constant rpm in high ambient temperatures with heavy load - but I tried not to exceed 100km/h - except when overtaking of course. Very happy with the vehicle. Never thought my wife would take to the Landy - but she loves it. |

mine is a year old Monday 12th. Just 5,000 miles, not enough really. My 110 is my daily driver, but the weekends are so great!!
Need to get it serviced now. Local dealer tried to steal £495 off me for a first service. That would be a no then! anyhow, overjoyed with the Heritage |

Mine is now 14 month old.
Only 4000 Km on it and now they began putting salt on the roads, so, she will not ranking up any for a while. Had the first service 2 month ago, at cost zero. |

3700 miles in year 1, most of which was in two trips, one to Scotland and one to Brittany. I won't do a trip somewhere hot again without fitting aircon. In today for its first service and checkover with the independent I use. Its also having tow electrics fitted because it just looks naked without. He is going to fit them in the recess in the bumper. Rather than faff with the online service thing I've got a proper LR service book.

Can you please give more detail of the LR service book? Is this a LR part or aftermarket? From where is it available?

Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

No problems with drive train but did grease hub splines twice which appears to have prevented usual spline wear.
