Seem pretty odd books to me. One of 400 and one of 600?
There were about 2654 Heritages and 2277 Adventure editions, plus 180 Autobiography produced in total for the world (official JLR figures). We here for Switzerland alone got initially allocated 300 Heritages and 100 Adventure editions, plus 50 Autobiography. In the end I believe that was a bit reshuffled as the Autobiography editions proved very difficult to attract buyers, believe that quota was reduced and replaced by some more of the two other limited editions which sold as easy as pie here. Here in cash rich Geneva, 30 Heritages were sold, but in the end only 1 single taker of an Autobiography, that was someone from the Middle East.... I know of at least 3 brand new unregistered Autobiography editions which still are looking for a buyer here now. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

In the UK the Heritage book says "One of 400" it seems, in other markets they were different. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic41504.html So probably the Adventure one is correct too. |
