Are you thinking that if it is "dead" when you turn the key, people will suspect an immobiliser etc and maybe start ripping things apart to find it. If it turns over but doesn't start they might assume it is ill and get bored and move on?

Correct. I want time to put my pants on before running down the stairs and into the street. I owe the neighbours that at least.
The sound of a car not starting seems to draw attention, and a land rover not starting will draw every land rover owner within earshot in five minutes... V8 90...WIP |
