Honestly guys, the first show that I can come over to and I am there, this install has to be seen and heard. I called into my local LR dealer for a few bits, safe to say the car park was full of 90% of the staff/customers all looking at it lol Andy

Are those tips just "flat" at the ends,..if so, that's what I'd have.
How wide are your exhaust pipes?
I would simply have chromed or stainless or whatever tips, not flared or anything just plain tips on the end of your pipes, to finish them off. I've had plenty of V8s, I've always had a chrome/polished or whatever, plain tips on the end, to finish off.

Just sat on the bench there they look a little 'wide boy' maybe look better fitted? Big exhausts on Defenders are really difficult, not sure I've seen the perfect setup yet... Confused James

As above keep it simple,

Chrome is also nice to polish.... not the carbon type on the RS...

Personally, I like the exhaust ends as you currently have them in your first photos. Don't add anything... Monsieur Le Grenadier

When you've got time, you need to throw in a couple of these Borg Warner Twin Scroll Turbos, just for good measure. Look at the stats on the new E63.... Shocked

Nope.
Turbos are not the go,...well they could be,..... if ya wanna have extra "complications".
But if ya wanna get some really simple extra grunt, a simple puffer on top of your LS3 will give you what ever you want,...and I mean,....whatever you want,.....600hp would be easy, and in a Defender?,...well, to be truthful, I just don't have the words.
There are blown LS3s running around in Aussie with 700HP PLUS, that could be driven to church on Sunday by a little old lady!!
With an LS3, the possibilities are boundless,.....if ya've got the dollars,.....the more you spend,....the faster you go!!.
Something like this is totally different to a modified diesel. Pretty much the same for cruising around, but if ya flatten it, ya're whole world changes,...if ya don't believe me, wait for the comments from the owner of the Defender the subject of this thread.
Pickles.

Thanks Isacs. But aren't 'blowers' and turbos much of a muchness these days, with turbo lag (I believe the main issue between the two), having been largely addressed. I mean why would the AMG group throw in a couple of turbos over superchargers in their latest, fastest, nastiest incarnation? Monsieur Le Grenadier
