Keep topping up, I don't think modern engines like rad weld etc. chokes the galleries and causes hot spots in heads etc....
I've had a tiny leak on the heater valve for five years, takes a cupful every 6 months! |

Yes, as I was advised correctly here too - don't use any radiator fix stuff, if it's very minor leave it alone.
You can change the cap if you like, it may help and little money to use. Keep topping up for now, if it gets bad you'll soon know then it'll be time for an actual fix.
