Fitting a 3/4 Exmoor canvas tilt
Just started putting together the canvas tilt and sticks. Does anyone have a diagram for the drip channel attachment and the other fastenings? Any pictures would be gratefully received as the Exmoor video is a full hood mine will be stand alone. Smile

Well after a day at it in the cold we have a fitted hood, first the frame.

All landrover parts needed to get the drip gutter in first.

Had to rivet in the securing springs before fitting the gutter.

Now to the back end, need to drill out two rivets and fresh drill two others on both side.

Finally draped the hood on over with help from my wife and set about slotting the retaining aluminium angle strip into the hood and spring clip it to the drip gutter.

Hay presto the finished hod, now getting stretched and bedded in.

There we go, not as straightforward as I would like, but better than the ifor Williams.

Very Happy

The full respray made the chassis rebuild complete, hope it lasts a few years.

The hood will stretch a bit when it rains so let's see how it beds in. Smile
