Short answer No! However, you can get a free months trial with Amazon Prime then if you do not wish to continue cancel the subscription very easy to do over the internet.. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at.. http://www.youtube.com/user/conwy1 |

If you buy around 10 items per year off Amazon anyway then the Amazon Prime sub is effectively free - you get free next day delivery on a lot of items if you've got a prime account, includes delivery on Sunday if you order on Saturday.
I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon so probably save a couple of hundred quid a year in delivery charges. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/ |

Wroughton is where the Science Museum keep big stuff and other bits. They do a tour for the public sometimes, I went once, and it's a wonder to see all the gear they have, like a Constellation plane and the world's oldest bike. The guide told us that the hanger doors are bomb proof, heavy and old, but you can still open them by hand - go on then, I said, show us! And he did!
Get in there when you can. Merlin |

I watched ep 1 and thought it was OKish for a new program and hoped ep 2 would improve. Sadly ep 2 was worse and I switched over half way through the silly commando item (did not find it interesting at all).
Started watching ep 3 last night with the Rolls Royce, Aston and the Hell Cat. Jeez, it was so forced it was hard to watch, so I didn't. I think that the best days of Top Gear were with the BBC and sadly they blew it. The current Grand Tour is trying too hard and needs to get some authenticity back, slapstick Hammond is painful to watch. Actually, Clarkson and May seem ok. I accept its probably me getting old, but I think Tog Gear and The Grand Tour have had their day. Cheers Simon |

I watched the first one and it was the same stuff, just more forced and sillier. I haven't watched any of the others.
To be honest I was bored with the formula before it died on BBC. It hasn't got better. I think Amazon might regret their massive expenditure and the guys might regret taking the Amazon wedge over another more popular but also more frugal outfit. New project and it's green: www.projectoverland.info |

I still think its good, better than the last few years on the bbc - i think its a little forced, they need to stop trying - but unfortunately the BBC prevent them doing certain things under contract if you recall, hence stuff on TG cant be done in the same way...hopefully this will make year 2 better. I was quite shocked. I'd grown very tired of the old BBC one - it felt scripted, stale, and the increasing amount of juvenile humour didn't work for me either. I did though still like the beautiful photography and the occasional glimpses we got of the nice writing/journalism Clarkson can deliver.
I did wonder if the BBC were tempering them in a positive way - and I put the photography and production quality down to the BBC..... that feels to have been born out. Episode 4 seemed dire ... humour gone more juvenile, less content, lower production values and more scripted. Hope they are not all like that. |
