Well.....

The deed is done.

The good news......

The recovery eyes didn't result in a fail (as many of you suggested) Thumbs Up

The seat belt was changed last night - so obviously no issues there Thumbs Up

(I checked with Mr MOT Man by showing him the removed seat belt and he agreed with you, singe the frayed ends and it'd be fine) Thumbs Up

Alas.....

Crying or Very sad

Big Cry

FAIL

Two rear brake pipes excessively corroded.

Have to say, I've had a look and I can't fault the judgement - just a pity I didn't pick it up myself.

So, back in next week to have them replaced. Not expensive by any means, and not something to complain about. I took it in a fortnight earlier then necessary so technically it's still MOT'd (although the fail will override that!).

Still, I've broken my first time pass with no advisories record - which I'm more pee'd off about Crying or Very sad

I'll cheer myself up by fitting the Scenelight tomorrow Thumbs Up

Thanks for the info guys.

Yes I understand what you mean Steve - a sense of power.....

That said, I got off lightly compared to you so I can't complain. I hope you are all sorted now.

Hopefully by the end of next week, I'll have 12 months without their company! Thumbs Up

It's worse than going to the dentist! Rolling with laughter

The aggrevation is the time no effort they expect immediately not to mention finding a suitable location to fix then go back and all that.
As well as working too.

On mine I'm using the spare, gonna get another full set next year.
Only done 30k but will be 6years old so, I think it'll be due. Chillin In The BackwoodsπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Well, all sorted and a new ticket for an hours worth of labour plus parts. Not a bad result really. Thumbs Up

Here's to 12 months of trouble free motoring Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

There's always a BUT.....

Somehow, and I really can't prove this, they probably managed to break the internal door handle, which in itself isn't the end of the world, BUT I'd invested in the Croytec trims (saddo that I am) and one has been lost forever Question Crying or Very sad
