Some great pictures Christian1402 - is that rock slab at the east end of the Grizedale lane?
Was there last year, but ran out of time to try it with the 110! Instagram: l90andy 2006 Land Rover 90 TD5 CSW Silver Edition My 1984 Ninety: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56071.html - SOLD! My 2015 Defender: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39625.html - SOLD! |

Looks great. Nice mods.
My wheeldar is a little off on my mobile... Are the Twisted wheels 16" or 18"? Look great. This arrived in the post this afternoon, it saves the need for me to bolt the tow bar back on for winter. I'll be adding a thin rubber gasket between this and th crossmember to help protect the paintwork

No probs, been called a lot worse!
Read just the other day those hitches, even with a spreader plate on the back can cause damage to the cross member. Just saying as a caution James MY2012 110 2.2TDCi XS SW Orkney Grey - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic43410.html MY1990 110 200TDi SW beautifully faded Portofino Red - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post743641.html#743641 MY1984 90 V8 Slate Grey - https://www.defender2.net/forum/post744557.html#744557 Instagram @suffolk_rovers |

I'm not sure where I got John from!
Hmm, this one bolts through the original holes to which the tow bar bolted to. I'm hoping it should be ok although I guess I never thought about damaging the crossmember! Thanks for the heads up though |

Ah ok, It was on L90Andy thread who has one mounted on the cross member (where the sankey type hitch mounts). But then if it's OK for a tow hitch it should be fine?!?! James

Fully enough it was on Andy's thread I came across it, he directed me to the eBay advert where I made the purchase.
Only time will tell I guess! I'm hoping I don't need to use it for serious recoveries, more recovering cars in snow etc. Last edited by Christian1402 on 2nd Dec 2016 10:01am. Edited 1 time in total |

Nothing much has happened on this recently, redundancies have been announced at work so depending on what happens I may have to let this go
