United Kingdom 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 HT Corris Grey
I do like the look of that Jeep actually. I seem to remember that one (or one of the other concepts released at the same time) had on board air and some really awesome toggle switches in the dash.

I kind of have the opinion that people that buy 4x4s when they don't need them should have a compulsory week getting covered in mud, camping, towing livestock trailers, hauling plant and building supplies etc. Basically doing things that a 4x4 is actually advantageous for, and using whichever 4x4 they're buying.

If people still want them then great, we've taught some people some new skills and given them an interesting week. If it puts some people off buying cars that consume more resources, take up more space on the road and are less safe then great, we've made the world a better place.

But you know, whatever. Laughing

Interesting to see something different, but for me I'd never buy a German marque.
Nor smitten with any Euro marque if I'm honest.

USA - Yes.

UK - Yes.

Japanese - Yes.

Euro - No.

The Unimog is nice, but in the US there are better alternatives. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

2001 Defender 90 Td5 CSW Epsom Green
If it's around the 30-35k mark then it can replace my e-class estate in a few years. Hope it has a V6 diesel under the bonnet. Finally the old Td5 can retire and just be a fun car and not have to do any work. 2001 Td5 CSW (weekend and snow mobile) Plenty of lights, M/T tyres EGR delete, roofrack, swing away wheel carrier, snorkel.

I'll put it next to my Renault Kangoo and Smart with their respective Mercedes and Aston Martin badges.

What next - a Dacia marketed as a Lamborghini?

What's the point of making a luxury Navara?

Isn't the point (which Land Rover seem to have missed) that all these luxury 'Commercial' vehicles are bought as company cars to get much lower company car tax?? James
