Can you fit replacement LED indicator bulbs without having to replace the flasher relay, which I believe, is behind the dashboard?

Buy a relay from the 'mobile centre' (expensive at £22) and replace the original in the fuse box on the dash under the steering wheel (LHD) Then fit the bulbs - Easiest way.
Alternatively, you need to fit resistors on the wiring on each indicator lamp requiring cutting the original wire. I carried out the first option and it's the best way. If you don't do this you will get fast blinking. Joe El Pepe Flamenco JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

I'm not with the vehicle at present. Which relay is it? In the pdf manual I have I can't find any mention of it?

In the PDF manual I have its on page 898. Item 5 in the diagram, top row, far right hand side. Immediately to the right of the wiper relay (you'll remember this one if you've done the intermittent wiper mod as per the other thread!).

No resistor required ifvyou get the mobile centre relay hence the price
