I ordered the mantec spare wheel carrier from Paddocks a few weeks ago. But they are still waiting for them to come in. Does anyone know anything about the more reasonbly priced ones?? Thanks! http://www.paddockspares.com/parts-and-acc...heels.html

I think duckworths were selling some Mantec ones off in the for sale section. Ray

Thanks mk1! I did notice that thread a few days after ordering from paddocks. They said it's free shipping to Norway because they sort of messed up a bit taking orders they couldnt deliver. Maybe I should just order one more from duckworths then. But if you know about those cheaper ones let me know. Is there a big quality difference perhaps? http://www.paddockspares.com/pm976-rear-do...-door.html

I have had 2 of the cheaper britpart ones and think the quality is great.

No corrosion on my latest one after 2.5 years. We get plenty of road salt up here. I do use acf50 on it. A couple of times I have had to adjust it to sort a rattle but a quick 5 min job.
