Microcat seems to be off line - does anyone have a diagram of the filter mounting brackets - especially the one riveted under the wing??
Cheers Keith |

Thanks again DS, I found that one but it doesn't show the inner wing riveted bit.
In replacing the viscous fan pulley and bracket today, it was necessary to remove the alternator, to get the alternator top bolt out, I had to move the inlet pipe, to move the inlet pipe I had to release the air filter box which as I've got A/C I can't actually get out and see what is underneath. So..... Bottom bracket is OK, 2 vertical lugs and three bolts through the inner wing, I drilled the 6 rivets out from under the arch but I cant relocate whatever they were attaching to, hence the need for a photo or a diagram - if that all makes sense!!! Thanks again Keith |

Here is a couple of photos that might be of use?

Thanks Steve,
I will have to try and fiddle it into place in situ, then finger cramp through the holes and rivet when all is assembled as the aircon pipe wont let me remove the box. I was looking for a diagram of what the bracket looks like so I could grope with confidence! Just knowing its made from plastic and the exploded view in DS' post help. Cheers again. |

I have had the airbox out many times and never had to drill any rivets out

![]() I can understand what you mean, the bracket sadly I don't have a pic of. But it's semi triangular to fit snug against the inner wing leaving a support for the airbox. Good luck. ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |

Thanks Roy,
Yes have done searches and read various posts, I think with the aircon pipe straight across the top of the opening it limits the options, also being made of the normal high quality plastic LR are famous for, some can be brittle. Keith |

Yes the aircon pipe is a pain but it can be done, although its probably easier to solve a Rubiks cube!!
And yes the plastic isn't the best, as I've said in previous posts i have broken a couple air boxes getting them in and out... patience and finesse, two things that i run out of quite quickly! ![]() Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

Its probably my fault, bracket and bearing arrived today - great service from LR parts again - had a quick look and thought no problem an hour and it'll be done
![]() Never saw the two bolt holes at the bottom corners that secure to the side plates on the block BARSTEWARDS!!! |

You can indeed either take the rivets out and remove he airbox and bracket adjoined.
Or pull the airbox off rubber mounts as suggested. Pulling airbox off is more prone to damage in my opinion but the rivets can be a pain I know. I went for the latter but each to his own. ![]() β½οΈπ’οΈβοΈπ§°πͺ |
