SOLD Factor 55 Flatlink in Blue
Hi Folks

I have had this on my Discovery for a year now but it remains unused as the winch was unused - just dont go to the places I used to go which is a real shame. Anyway, the winch has been sold so this is for sale.

Designed for winch owners who want their cable end to lock flat against their winch hawse, or fairlead to maximize approach angle. Ideal for synthetic rope and Aluminium fairlead as it will not damage the fairlead and still allows the winch to be fully wound in. Also allows for the use of front clip-in license plate frames. Fits 3/8 steel or synthetic winch cables. The FlatLink body is made from billet 6000 series aluminum and the securing pin is made from grade 5 steel. Load rated at 16000. LBS. Blue anodized finish. Made in the USA by Factor 55

FITS: Wire cable and synthetic winch line with 3/8" diameter. Center hole is compatible with 3/4 shackle size.

These are over £102 from Paddocks new so looking for £70 inc P&P to UK mainland.

Can you please measure the opening where the winch rope will go? I'm running 11mm synthetic rope, and just want to make sure it will fit?

Thanks
John

Hi John, I was running an 11mm plasma and it fitted with room to spare but for info its approx 22mm.

You might need a larger shackle for the other end as that is approx 30mm and the smaller ones are not wide enough Thumbs Up Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

Hi Russell, I really like this idea, but my eye link measures 26mm. I only use 6 ton shackles, so the pin measures 26mm in diameter, so not sure if it will fit. On the website it say's it fits 3/4 shackles/D rings, so not sure if my shackles will fit. The opening of the shackle is 37mm so will probably fit around, but it's the size of the pin that worries me.

Can you please measure accurately?

Thanks
John

Hi John

If your eye link is 26mm then this will not fit as the opening is only 22mm. Also the shackles you are using are no good as the pin hole is only 23/24mm, sorry.

Cheers for the interest. Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free
