Not a lot has changed recently other than it keeps leaking out the gearbox. Both output shaft seals and flanges replaced. Hopefully that had done the trick. Clutch could possibly be on its way out after only 13000 miles! Not impressed.
Oh and the dog is still growing. |

Genuine safari snorkel fitted, in combination with the air ox mid a free flow air filter plus a centre silencer delete pipe. The 2.2 pulls much better, no increase in engine noise other than you can hear it sucking air in better.
Treated her to a very good clay bar, wash, polish and wax. How clean is too clean?! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated |

Not much has changed other than a few small bits.
Roof rack is now black, fitted a stainless snow cowl, fitted larger intercooler and remap from Gary at alive (well worth it) Got bored of the interior of the truck so though I'd brighten it up a bit with some blue accents, body colour coding and a new smaller wheel fitted to an optimill slimline boss! Things to come are a padded a bar and some LED lights for the roof rack. That interior detail is rather cool! Did you just remove the said bits, flat them and paint etc? Pete

Yup that's exactly what I did! As long as you take your time and make sure the lacquer is set before re assembling. Good results can be had. Personalises the inside to you. It's where you spend most of your time with the car. You may as well enjoy the view

Not posted in here for a while, whats happened since, well...
Sourced a one piece silicone intake pipe and did the airbox mod. Also made my own wing adaptor so i now have a 100% sealed intake. A proper snorkel. Click image to enlarge whether its the pipe is too soft or the remap sucking hard i don't know but the intake pipe kept collapsing under boost. A bit of thinking and came up with an idea, wire reinforcement around the pipe to prevent it from collapsing. worked a treat and no more half throttle. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Genuine steering guard and soft A-bar went on plus Flatdog LED headlights. Click image to enlarge Exhaust is straight through from the DPF back, with a 3" tail pipe Click image to enlarge Fitted LED's all around including a FAR-CORNERS LED number plate light incorporating a rear work lamp mount. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Picked up a genuine aux light switch and wired it to the LED light bars on the roof rack... Click image to enlarge Looks cool with all white lights on the front... Click image to enlarge Incorporated my Ultraguage unit into my clocks for a cleaner look... Click image to enlarge A job I finished today, fitting and wiring the heated wing mirrors... Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge And just some photos of the truck oh and new number plate too. Click image to enlarge One last photo of my little family all in the same spot... Click image to enlarge I'll try and update as I go along from now on. The steel wheels were just borrowed from a friends range rover so had to give them back, plus without a lift and some arch trimming they would have rubbed. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

If it was a serious off roader i would do it, but to be honest it does a green lane every couple months and the rest of the time it carries me and my two dogs around so no need.
Thanks. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |
