I have had a trawl but cant see a specific thread on retrofitting electric front windows. I have a 2012 110 poverty spec SW with winding windows.
I actually prefer them, saves problems in the ice here with sticking glass and seizing motors but SWMBO wants the 21st century to make an attempt in the car. Just has blanks for switches so apart from obviously buying door mechanisms, are they wired for this behind the dash or am i going to have to strip it apart to wire them in? I've heard nothing but bad things about trying to get behind the dash |

presumably stripping the door card would be the first port of call to look for a loom?

Either that, or remove the centre fascia from the dash to see if the plugs are there?
If they are, it should be a straight forward job of sourcing switches, window mechanism and relay. 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

My poverty spec has no cables going to the doors so doubt the loom will be there.
