You're welcome.
What made you choose a diesel Defender over other makes which I'd assume to be more popular in Dubai? @JOW240725
I've always liked boxy 4x4s including the defender. I've had a land cruiser, g-wagens, and a jeep. My other 4x4 currently is a 1984 g-wagen but it is petrol and auto unfortunately. I am also currently contemplating getting a 40 series land cruiser before the price rises even more. I've always liked diesel engines and currently own a diesel ford truck as well. When I learned about the defender production stopping, I've just had to have one. It being diesel was a big plus. I had to ensure that it can handle high sulfur diesel. So far it is doing fine. The service center is replacing the fuel filter with every service as per LR advice. I've always been an odd ball, I don't think about what's popular I just go about doing my own thing P.S. what is popular in Dubai is not always popular here. |

That's as good a reason as any, you won't get any argument on here! Defenders are certainly the best 4x4xfar!!
I do apologise I meant Kuwait, in the time it took me to hit reply I'd forgotten your location! Well I hope you enjoy your Defender, you'll find a wealth of information on here and keep the photos coming!! @williamthedog
Thanks, I am already liking this forum @LR90XS2011 Thanks @couplands Safety Devices, it was my #1 mod too. It got pushed back and delayed because ordering it, shipping it to Kuwait and having it installed was challenging to say the least. |

Thought it was SD, I just hadn't seen the rubber pads between the cage and the bodywork. Very nice.
