Glossy black plastic not the primed ones designed for painting.

A bumper shine product I'd have thought.
WD40 would work too, but I'm not sure if that'd do the plastic much good in the long run. Trouble is with these plastics is they all tend to fade with UV exposure. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Well that's the gunk the car wash have put on it and after only three months they've gone from glossy jet black to a dull charcoal - these are the latest original LR arches and not cheap aftermarket ones. I appreciate that they'll fade with time but I'm sure it's product related and not UV that's to blame after such a short period of time.

I take it they aren't textured then like the old headlights surrounds were?
I've only really known or heard of textured black ones or painted ones. Perhaps they are the sane a space primed arch spats hence the smooth finish but obviously never painted or primed. If so, they wouldn't be UV stable and could be a contributing factor. Wax also dulls plastics too. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Meguires tyre protectant. Oily stuff that lasts a month or more. Some baby wipes good for trim too. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
