I had the same streak marks on mine caused by 1 or 2 drive flange bolts being a little loose.
I just retorque them and give every thing a wipe down if on a trip. When the wheels come off for a rotate there will be 20 new flange bolts being fitted. This is the disadvantage of the duel alloy wheel, you can't see the drive flange as you can with a steel wheel. Cheers, Kyle. |

It's probably oil leaking past the seal in the axle seal.
Being it's still under warranty I'd take it back to the dealer |

Thanks folks. It's on the standard steel wheels, but I've various other warranty items that need looking at, so back it goes.

on steels you can check the drive member bolts with the wheel on. worth a check possibly.
presume cap is not damaged or has become porous? also check breather to ensure its not blocked. Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Thanks, no, the centre cap is fine. I've checked all four caps and the rest are pretty much grease free underneath but the leaky one has a load of oil inside it, so it does look like a seal is leaking.
As I say, I've other warranty bits to get looked at, so I'll add this to the list. |
