Was told exactly the same thing. They've put in a temp black plastic 'liner' until we work out what to do. Can't tell from the outside, not unless you stick your face right up against it, and despite my initial concern it doesn't create a blind spot. Well, at least I ignore it if there is one .personally I think they're just being idle/looking for the path of least resistance.

Hmmm frustrating. Is it not possible to just get the DIY tint and cut it to size?

Because the glass is curved in two directions it is very difficult to get window tint to the right shape, window tinting film will only shrink in one direction when heat is applied... so depending on the curve depends which way you lay it to shrink it to suit.
So again its nigh on impossible to get a window tint to the right shape for the corner windows. Mine were done in two parts so there's a joining line down the middle, I know its there, the ifor williams canopy hides some of it, but unless you're looking for it you would probably miss it. |

Ha ha, it could be an old photo. Yup, still yellow, but given I'm actively considering a V8 upgrade, (which would be illegal here) it's the only option until I'm sure one way or t'other... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |
