Mud Interior Side panels
Hi everyone,

Quite a common mod it seems on here but more pictures and opinions can never be a bad thing. After removing the ply lining from the back of my 90 which was fitted when I bought it, I was after a new solution for a bit of protection and insulation for the load area. This led me onto the mud stuff side panels which looked just the job and seemed to give a fairly factory look. So I received the panels yesterday and thought I'd have a go fitting them up today. I'd previously applied some insulation to the side panels and knew the panels came with some self-adhesive foam patches to add to this. So in all, the panels were of very good quality and getting them into the car was easy and took no more than 30 mins, I've yet to fix them up yet but this is just a case of drilling a few holes for the fir trees to fit. I'd like to add, it always amuses me how you can spend a couple of hundred quid on some parts, and a dremel is an essential tool every time, I think this must be fairly unique to land rover ownership, and I do enjoy this aspect! Thumbs Up

Anyway, pictures added with the panels in place.

Cheers,
Lew

Good job, looks much better.
I like the Mudstuff bits. The vent is excellent, and have the cubby box tray. Both are excellent fit, useful and well priced.

Aye they look good even better i'd guess if you added the rear headlining but its pricey, whats with all the strips of silver/foam ? was that in the truck when you got it or is it something you're doing? 3 Landrovers

Thanks guys, I'm happy with how they look, and after a quick drive today the sound proofing seems to have worked a treat! Swac, the strips are sound deadening, a foil and butile strip, much the same as the brand dynamat. Total coverage isn't required as they are there to stop resonance in the large panels, the closed cell foam which will go on top will add a more wholesale insulation! A couple of strips added to a door or footwell for instance make a remarkable difference!
