I have had all 3 Heko, Climair and Land Rover. Hekos were on an old mitsi and were great. The Land Rover ones are on our D2 and use 3M but have held on for 14years no issues and are great.
The Climair ones thou yes they are a doddle to fit and doubt they can be removed easily if at all. But the downside I have noticed is that im 6' 2" and sit high up in the 110 and the Climairs are rather dark and to add to this because they curve in all directions they distort the view so at roundabouts I find I have to crank my head to look under them as they can make the view very different. apart from that they are great. |

Hi Dave, well I understand what you are saying about distortion as the Heko tend to do that, also the passenger side mirror is obscured a tad!
I decided to fit wind deflectors as in my 90 when doing about 30+ and with the drivers window full open she who must be obeyed moans her buns off that she is getting a draught plus my hair looks like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards!! with the Heko's fitted I have noticed three things, the gale is now a lovely breeze, the hair stays presentable and the wife has shut up!!! so its a win win situation. I have no experience with the climair at all but reading some of the comments it seems as you have said they are a doddle to fit which cannot be said for the Heko, I believe that Heko might have fitted these initially to possibly a brand new landy where the window glass guides are in perfect condition, as we all know the steel backed/felt guides do distort over time and possibly this is the reason for my problem. In saying that maybe somebody out there has fitted Heko to an old landy and has not had any problems? maybe somebody might pick up on this and post me. From my fitting experience of them to my Landy If somebody were to buy these for theirs and were not maybe a bit DIY handy I suspect they might have a problem and be unable to resolve it, maybe Heko if they see this can contact us and offer some sort of explanation or assistance as the product looks good, its just a pity they do not seem to fit as they say they should in their info !! Regards Ole Dave |

I had climair and loved them, the only trouble was they are very easy to fit... so also easy to have stolen, after the second set was pinched off my parked car i have given up.

Hi Prent1 lovely to hear from you, well to remove the Heko easily would mean smashing the window !! its almost impossible to get out once the window is up, in saying that if somebody was desperate to have them I guess its possible with a struggle, best of luck to those who try it, they were difficult enough to get in with the glass in the door so nicking them would be a challenge.
Sorry to hear some theiving @rse has swiped yours, cannot trust anyone but Landy owners these days. Ole Dave |
