Ifor Williams GD85 - how to put LR wheels on?
I have an Ifor Williams GD85, it currently has 4 stud 14inch rims fitted.

Not knowing much about PCD's and other wheel related numbers, does anyone know which hubs I would have to swap too to be able to fit some Land Rover size wheels too the trailer?

I know it can be done as the trailers I've towed while working out in the Peak District many years ago all had LR steel wheels and suitable tyres attached.

Thanks for any help.

Personally I'd call into a local Ifor dealer and talk it through with them to make sure everything goes swimmingly. But, in the meantime:-

I believe the 4 stud axles are on 200 x 50 drums which equates to. KS0825 Hub Kit. To change to a 5 stud pattern you'd need to swap these "Hub Kits" (drum, bearing, etc etc) to the KS0826 which is effectively the same drum / hub kit but with 5 holes instead of 4.

However, back to my first paragraph, go armed with all the info but check with you local Ifor dealer / service centre first in case there are descrepancies in the years etc.

Above all remember - I'm not an expert Thumbs Up Rolling with laughter

Thanks for that Riccarton. Gives me something to look at in a bit more detail before going to the dealers.

I've got a GD85- and would have thought that the LR wheels would be far too big for it? We've had other Ifors running on LR wheels in the past- but they've then 12.50-16 series type wheels I think? Not sure that you'd get the 265-80-16 tyre to fit at all?

As stated above- best bet would be to speak to a dealer- although I guess they may well just tell you it's not practical?

6.50 r16 are an option on Gd84 so definitely possible (with bigger mudguards) He who dies with the most toys...wins!
