Wipers stopped working TD4 - 90

Recently front wipers suddenly stopped working. I checked the fuse, changed the relay and switch on the steering wheel but without success. Currently my wipers are still pointing to the moon….
Anyone an idea on what it could be and how to sort it out?
It is a Land Rover Defender 90 - TD4 build in 2007

Is there power to the wiper motor? it could be a few things; seized wheel boxes, snapped shaft on the motor itself, the motor itself is u/s.

Start with removing the motor and drive cable then manual turn the wheel boxes, if they are OK connect the motor externally and test it for function. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

how do i get to the motor? do i need to remove the complete dashboard?
