Not a big challenge for the 90, but this felt pretty good, and fulfilled one of those boyhood dreams like a new Corgi toy used to.

^^^Awesome! My sister's father-in-law was there with his '57 Chevy (not racing, just attending). There was a group of them with their classic American cars, drove down in convoy from the UK. Said it was a great event, they have been a few times. Must go some day. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

Yes, it is a fantastic event. The club area is stunning, and everyone is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. It is a real melting pot of european car enthusiasts, even though the Brits still dominate both Le Mans events, 24h and Classic.
This year the weather behaved, too! 1998 Tdi 90 SW, 2008 Td4 90 SW, 2012 2.2 90 SW, 2" raised Trailmaster/Terrafirma Heavy Track Raids, 255 MTīs, Recaro CSīs, anorak, wellingtons |

Going away again next weekend, Rack and trailer will be full of kit, and the wagon full of people! Funny, our ESU is called Discovery as well. Wonder how many other Land Rover themed units there are out there. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated 2007 - Stornoway Grey 90 XS SW - Gone 2002 - Black Discovery II - Gone 2014 - Montalcino Red 110 XS SW |
