Is that an automatic drive? What would the advantage be? |

Taken from another mil orientated website with people who know a lot more than me about current state of affairs with regards to UKSF vehicles.
These are the operational versions of a new Supacat - the LRV 400, based on a LR Discovery chassis. I know its about functionality, but that looks a bit shonky to me
Prefer the Syria spec Land Cruiser - way more reliable than a twin chassis Discovery New project and it's green: www.projectoverland.info |

This is in fact an RWMIK+ rather than an RWMIK, and is the first I have seen being cast. Rather desirable as a collector's item but no doubt expensive. |

Brewstop posting one one the most in depth replies I've ever read.
Proud to say that I'm listed in his list of WMIK users. Glad to see a bit more armour, protection and power (RWMIK+) has been added since I used them An ally looking bit of kit, but I question the need to own one as a civvie Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful! |

Could have asked today. Bumped into a Hereford boy who came to look at my DC. Nice guy, even had black tape over his eyes. Doing a tour of the Alps with his family in a very smart Santorini Black 110SW, (no photos, obviously) almost as loaded with kit as the WMIKs in the photos. Wondered if he was actually recceing an Alps invasion.... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Still in use (turning round in my driveway), though presumably with short haired gentlemen at the wheel Whoever they were, they thanked us for the use of the driveway. They were automatic transmission, so presumably the final version. Until a couple of weeks ago there were half a dozen parked up at Knook Camp near Warminster. ^^^ Knook Camp, now there's a name I've not heard of in a long while, nor a camp I've thought of for equally long. Blast from the past.. Monsieur Le Grenadier
