First of all hello... already spotted some old friends from Kielder 4x4 and disco3 posting here...
Formalities out of the way... I'm hoping to answer a quick question if I may impose on everyone's weekend... Just got myself an old '94 300Tdi 130 that has been rebuilt just a few hundred miles ago... I've been underneath it for the first time trying to resolve a jumpy speedo. I noticed a suspicious looking bell housing - is it missing 4 bolts? If so anyone got a part number that might work for me? Click image to enlarge Thanks, J |

IIRC when a Disco engine is mated to a Defender transmission, there are some bolts in the wrong place / not drilled and tapped ?

Is that what I have here? A disco engine and a defender box?
I don't know the full history of the vehicle but I think it is all defender. |

I've not looked in such detail...
I'll get back under it later. It all looks factory as the casting opposite each hole is shaped to be tapped. Will have a look and report back! |

CheersDS - that is perfect.
What is missing from the other two holes that are aligned centre? The look like they should be plugged with something? |
