Did you leave a window open? I recently read about it's functioning in the workshop manual, and apparently it reacts to air moving inside the cabin. On hot days, I tend to leave the vents open when its parked on a quiet spot but that has never triggered the alarm (yet..?).
Greetings, Joris Edit: moving air is already mentioned in the screenshot in the previous reply. |

Have you got a bonnet sensor fitted in the alarm system?
Our RR alarm used to go off when it got hot ant the bonnet expanded ever so slightly. |

+1 for the bonnet trigger if you've got one!!! Easily tested though - simply pack it with something on a really hot day and see if it still activates

My alarm went off at 01.30 this morning (MY2015, fitted with additional bonnet switch). All windows were closed so there should not have been any air movement in the vehicle. I put it down to the fact that it was stood in the sun all day (it reached 31.7 degrees here). Be interested to know how many more went off in the heat? Defender 90XS SW
