might be a bit naive of me, but I've never once seen a image of a door damaged by a wheel? is this a myth ? (i also run a lot heavier wheel / tire combo than a standard boost alloy.. no damage after 4 years) to answer your question i think the nakatenga one fits but its not cheap... possibly the safari equip one too |

I have a Mantec carrier and a genuine Land Rover nas step, no problems fitting or operating
It's not fancy and the bearings won't fail. |

Rear doors do fail under the weight of a spare wheel - especially if you "supersize" the wheels...

Nakatanenga wheel carrier fits with the NAS step.
Does not require the bodywork drilling, is made from stainless, version for both pre 02 and post 02 models . Bought, used and recommended by many Defender 2 members. Brendan |
