Howling Moon half moon awning - wow!
Just spotted Flat dog selling these. New product by the look of it. Almost makes you turn the vehicle into a big top for the circus. Looks amazing!

I spotted this a couple of weeks ago and while yes I think it's a great idea and would probably still buy it if I had the need or readies.

But is it mean or does it seam a lot to put up knowing you've got to take it all down to drive somewhere the next day?! Russell

Looks great but .....a lot of hassle to dismantle to go for a drive !
I've looked and used many set ups from trailers roof tents to these and think best set up is just
A couple of dome tents and awning. Have fun be happy

Not too much drama setting up just the awning

But you need a few hands to pack the lot away...

Does anyone know if you can still access the rear of the defender via the safari door with this awning erected?

That is an impressive setup! Bow down

For me, though (and especially living in Wales), I have enough hassle keeping just the tent dry and having to dry it out afterward if I was not successful. Never mind having to dry all that awning out and everything.

As another forum member pointed out, it'll be good if they have provided for rear access to the Defender. I've got to imagine that they have.
