Keep the Wolfs
I don't think a Defender really looks right with alloys, but if you are putting alloys on then the nice chunky Boost is the way to go. |

I have Boosts on my Puma USW. I like the look , but for a Defender, I really like the Wolfs. A bit more business like. Best keep them on

Its a 2016 Utility. White with white wolfs on. I was thinking of the Dual Finish SVX wheels. But I think I also like the wolfs. Thanks all for your input.

I have both SVX and Boosts and i cannot decide which are better but Boosts look nicer when dirty. My SVX's are starting to lose the laquer which is a bit annoying. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

A Puma is a Defender post 2007 with the engine which is based around the Ford Transit 2.4 and latterly 2.2 Puma engine. It's still a Defender. The TD5 which predates it was the last Land Rover in house built engine. I think I have got that right? |

All Pumas are Defenders, not all Defenders are Pumas. It's the post 2007 model with a Ford transit engines(2.4 and later the 2.2) I really like the wolf and satin black too, and sometimes white, especially on a darker vehicle with white roof. Quite nice with a MT like the BFG KM2 as it has the white lettering. But the boost alloys are great too, better on a darker vehicle IMO. For whatever reason, I like sticking with the LR original standard spec stuff - the glam trim I've seen inside some is god-awful to me (highlighted stitch and chrome!?) But for every combo you see and go 'blech!' there will be someone who looooves it - and for certain personalities buyers regret and wondering 'what if' will be a constant But hey, at least you've got a Defender ! Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

My thinking has always been steels / wolfs for defenders with white roofs, and unpainted wheel arches. Alloys on defenders with body coloured wheel arches.
Always thought utility defenders with unpainted arches / truck cabs look wrong on alloys, I guess it stems from the 300tdi era when only the top county spec came with freestyle alloys, and even they were extra over the standard fit rostyles. |

Would it at all surprise you that I have white steel wheels, black arches and a white roof on my hartop?
The farm pickup has got the fancy-pants body coloured arches (and stupid carpet), but keeps the white wheels and roof. |

Stay with the Wolf's but get them powdercoated.
Was over at Boab a couple of weeks ago and Chris's USW with colour coded wolf rims and BFG's looks the dogs danglies. |
