will TD5 door card fit 09 door

Will TD5 door card fit door frame from 09 defender ?

Unfortunately not unless it's a post 2004 td5. The welded vs pressed door frame door cards are not interchangeable

I think you can get galvanised steel skins now which would obviously help reduce bimetallic corrosion

Driver side door back on with galvanised steel skins and re painted, have passenger side door to do, spotted the 09 passenger door frame on eBay then i remember seeing on the forum that post 05 door frames will not work with older door cards, worth checking be for going ahead with plan B
