Water ingress in rear axle on 2007 Defender 110 | |
Over the last couple of years I've had issues with water getting into the rear axle of my 2007 Defender 110. I reckon 100-200ml over the last year. The breather hose has been checked and is OK and the pinion seal was changed 2 years ago. No sign of oil leaks anywhere. The axle has not been submerged (I don't do off-roading/wading). I do pressure wash the car occasionally but take care to avoid the axle. Any tips from anyone? I'm mystified
