I think that that is actually a plumbing fitting of the ball valve (float valve) from someone's water cistern. It doesn't look Defenderish to me.

Also looking at the corrosion on the threads it didn't fall off this week either.

Trying to figure out where it came from. Glad it isn't from the 110.
We don't have a cistern. Best guess is it bounced or was thrown in to our parking area. Couldn't have rolled that far, our parking area is all gravel. I've put with with other scrap metal waiting for my next trip to the tip / recycling centre. |
