They won't take the gearbox out to do any of that work. It would be worth having it done though as its not much more work to pull the main box and do a clutch. |

Just for the record prior to my ownership our 2012 110 had a new gearbox output shaft and flange 01/2015 and then a new clutch 05/2015.
I'm hoping this means all is good now but we'll wait and see! Sitting by the side of road with kids and holiday kit filling the 110. BANG, no drive and lots of swearing. There goes ANOTHER No.5 output shaft. Ashcroft kit fitted last time. WTF 🤬 .
That’s an average of 22,000 miles for each shaft. |
