The sort of thing that annoys people for example is Blair and Major teaming up all of a sudden.
People at each other's necks for years and as soon as they agree on one thing they are best buddies. It just doesn't give confidence at all to the public, it just shows self interest. I'm not saying that is either in or out bias in all honesty but the same thing is Corb and Cam siding together too. Yet there are Lab abd Tory MPs for out. People keep on thinking this is a political election, it isn't. |

The guy is a succsesfull fund manager so not a mug & his conclusion was interesting that there was no convincing argument to say we would better off economically if we stay or leave, uncertainty yes but no real difference in the long run. I do not think either side has any idea what will happen as no one knows its all guess work, may be educated guess work but still guesswork ! The EU sadly is broken it is not working efficiently the continual push to closer integration of more & more countries on the outside of EU will just end up in tears, the one fits all economic solution will never work, with all due respect to the Greeks, they are never going to have the mindset & work ethic of the Germans. 2020 P300 HSE |

^^^^ Well that's a nice attitude to have.
The problem is with predictions is, no one can predict the future with the best intentions in the world. You just don't know the future, and what will happen. Surely back in the 70's (I think it was the 70's that it was joined) we should have all been living superior lives of luxury by now. Not just the upper echelons, but everyone. Seems we're in a worse hole than then.. Just about everything British about our country is being cut off as waste, leaving us with very little. And countries like war torn Turkey about to join up if only they could and hangers on like Albania etc. To my mind they only have one intention and that is to hang off the EU's funds. I've never known such viciousness as that of the remain camp, compared to Leave which is so full of positivity. Just yesterday I commented on a Remain persons comments over this as they lept on someone like a tiger who said they were confused. What did she do.... When confronted with the facts she decided to delete my comments.. If that isn't guilt I didn't know what is, I still proceeded to tell the person by message what happened though.   |

I want the single market, which is what we joined.
I don't want the European government, over which we had little choice. If we come out, we can then start to negotiate a re-entry.....? In any event, we are still a member of EFTA.  |

The remain camp lost the argument IMV by not putting forward an argument to remain, instead choosing to put forward reasons not to leave, in the process coming up with some pretty ludicrous propositions.
The reality is that nobody knows what the long term economic impact will be of leaving the EU, anyone that says they do is pretty much making it up as they go along. Even the short term impact is unclear. The problem is that the remain camp cannot make an argument to stay because, similarly, nobody knows what the long term impact will be of us staying. For that reason, and because nobody knows what the future political shape of the EU will be, there is no "remain" argument really. I'm voting leave primarily because there has not been a single argument from the remain campaign that has persuaded me that staying in the EU is a good long term prospect for the UK. The benefits of leaving are pretty well covered by the leave campaign, as are the potential downsides. There has not really been a "remain" campaign at all, just an "anti-leave" campaign. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/ |

Totally with you on that one!
Britain is akin to a child having a bag of sweets in the playground and everyone wanting one. What happens when the bag is empty and the child has no more money to replenish the bag? Political debate on certain forums due to personal tensions and the inevitable ensuing bun fight are a 'no go' area anyway! I can see why! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
