Anyone on here have a PV array ?

If so, do you clean them and with what ?

I have them. Cleaned mine with long reach car brush pole and baby shampoo 2 years ago, still perfect

Not meant to use any product but I had greasy residue on a couple. Just a drop or 2 of Johnsons though!

Thanks languedoc

I'll give that a try, mine like most have a coating but theres a layer of dust that the rain isn't moving and mine are easy to access

I have a remote monitor so it will be easy to see if it improves

I had them installed, just a few days ago! Asked the technicians for he need and how to clean them, they answered just once a year in the spring wash with mild soap and long brush to clean of any algae then rinse.

I must say it really is a funny (but most welcome) sight to see the electricitymeter running backwards! Smile

If its not a hassle to reach, try just water and soft car brush first though.
Mine get buried in snow in winter so have to clear them a lot!

we've had some good weather here, so the panels have been earning £s.

we also have a heat pump - so our home running costs are pretty low Thumbs Up
