I’ve installed the codes as shown on the Nanocom site against my product ID this being Licenses 2 & 4, but can’t access the ABS screen. The Nanocom says function blocked. I bought the Nanocom just to monitor the ABS system, as I’ve got an intermittent fault that I want to identify. I thought that the Nanocom came with this installed. Can anyone explain how I get access?

1. Took unit to car and plugged in, On main screen, pressing the bottom nanocom option gives access to the units ID.
2. On to the nanocom website and registered my units I.D. Tip, Mattia is having server problems so just enter the units ID and your email address.
3. Nanocom email you your login and password details to allow you access to the restricted section. On entering the restricted section you are given access to your units licenses. Note them down and take unit back out to car.
4. Plug unit in and go to nanocom tab and select the licenses tab. Enter the codes carefully following this guide:

License1 = unlock box No1
License4 = unlock box No4
License7 = unlock box No7
The amount of licenses you need to enter depends on the version purchased.

5. Once all the licenses have been entered scroll through all the license pages until the last page and save the changes made. Otherwise you have to start again.
6. Unplug nanocom and then re plug in and voilà your nanocom is ready to go.

Hi Merlin,

did you follow the above for unlocking your nanocom? Especially No.5?

Brian.

They are just examples as the full pack has more licenses than the Td4 pack. Re-install the licenses you have ie, license 2 goes into unlock box no.2 and license 4 goes into unlock box no.4 Thumbs Up Remember to scroll through to the last page to, check the save codes box.

I’ve done that twice, so I expect that it wasn’t supplied. Guess I have to buy that licence, how?

I’ve just checked and I can’t access AS10 or WABCO ABS. BTW I did go to the end and ‘Save Codes’.

Right, you have entered one of the codes wrong or have been supplied with the wrong codes for your unit ID Whistle One code does engine and instruments the other 10AS and wabco/ABS. Go back onto nanocom website and recheck you wrote the codes down correctly and have entered them and saved them in the nanocom Thumbs Up

Hi Lorryman,
You were right about the codes. Got my wife to check the codes with me, and it seems I was putting in a digit one instead of capital I in the licence 2 slot. Censored . I’ve checked that so many times as well. So all works now and thanks for your support. Nucking fuisance this dyslexia.
