I know you have seen this photo before, but this station wagon used to be a pickup! Started life in 1992 in Solihull as 110 pickup. I bought it in 1996 and she duly became a station wagon and the family run about.Still running about!

And it will go on and on and when fuel becomes a serious or unavailable commodity you can run it on veg oil and service it yourself Thumbs Up

Had a chat with the customs and excise boys regarding vegetable oil as fuel. So long as I pay the duty that applies for road fuel they have no problem with it. Have to be able to prove if stopped and dipped and vegetable oil in the tank that the relevant duty has been paid. More bother than it is worth! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
I had a volvo v50 20 diesel ... it ran fine on veg fuel until the veg fuel company closed. that was a 20 common rail diesel although it did struggle a little in the winter but I did 90k miles in it no problem
