Mick, the oem ones are 28cm in length, Entreqs are 30cm but the mudguard mounting holes are set further out from the vehicle than the oem ones. The Entreq ones sit the mud flap 3" out from the sill

That was what I was going to do Matt until I took them off to do that and saw how thin and flimsy the brackets are, meaning I didn't want to weaken them further by drilling more holes into them . These replacements are a solid bit of metal and wont rust, though in hindsight I should have gotten them powder coated black first, before fitting. |

Thanks
So from what I understand thay are 50 euros plus postage @ 23 euros. And that is just for the brackets??????? I think I will drill new holes in my mud flaps, leaving the brackets as they are, and move the flaps out a few inches. Andy |

The M6 Rivnuts in the out rigger are turning round in my 110. How do you get them out and is there a way to re-fix without having to buy the right tools.

You have a couple of choices.
Try and tighten up the existing rivnuts using a m6 bolt with two nuts on and two spanners. If that works fine, if not move onto plan B Plan B Drill out the M6 rivnuts using a 9mm drill. This will leave a bit of the old rivnut in the chassis. Then nsert new rivnuts and use the bolt, 2 nuts and 2 spanner trick Plan C Leave existing rivnuts in place drill new 9mm holes and insert new rivnuts as per plan B If you are struggling to get hold of a few rivnuts drop me a pm with your address as am pretty sure have some in the lock up HTH Brendan |

You can drill a M6 rivnut out using a 9mm drill. As to fixing them without the memfast or rivnut pliers DCH's option is clever. You could drill out the innermost mounting rivnut and replace with a standard nut and bolt as there is a cut out in the outrigger. Whether or not you could get a spanner in there is open to trial? Other than that without buying the tool for yourself maybe some one on here with one near to you will come forward and assist you |
